These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and mobile application (together, the “Platform”) operated by Uprooting Talent Private Limited (“Uproot”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Platform or any services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility & Account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.

2. Use of Services

• Uproot is a referral-first hiring marketplace and offers related features including credit-based applications and boosts.
• You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at our discretion.

3. Credits, Pricing & Payments

• Credits enable actions such as job applications and profile boosts. Current plans are disclosed on the Pricing page.
• All prices are subject to change with prior notice on the Platform.
• No refunds or cancellations: Purchases of credits are final. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Content & IP

• The Platform, its design, logos, software, and content are owned by or licensed to Uproot.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

5. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

6. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome (including job placement) is guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uproot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim or INR 100, whichever is lower.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uproot and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the changes.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the use of the Platform.
